Rocky Mountain Gun Owner’s Executive Director, Taylor Rhodes, joined a panel on FOX31 for the May 29th edition of Colorado’s Very Own. He was joined by anti-gun Representative Tom Sullivan, where the two presented very different solutions to the issue of mass shootings. Rep. Sullivan reiterated that Red Flag laws should be strengthened, but Taylor quickly pointed out that Red Flag laws are ineffective and commonly abused. The panel discussed the need for increased security at schools, and Taylor pointed out that we protect everything else we consider valuable with firearms, so why not children? It is clear that the answer to this problem is multi-faceted, but at no point should it include disarming law-abiding citizens.
