Colorado AG supports background checks for ammunition.

Have you seen the news?

Our very own Attorney General, Phil Wieser, is pushing for background checks on ammunition purchases.

Here is the headline from the Denver Post:

If these are the types of laws that the 2020 session has in store for us... We might be in more danger than I initially thought.

Weiser and other AGs say background checks on ammo would "add protections without infringing on law-abiding citizens' rights to own firearms, nor on states' rights to regulate firearms as they see fit."

Well, Mr. Weiser, that is just not true.

The 2nd amendment is extremely clear by using, "Shall not be shall not be infringed" and the Colorado Constitution is even more precise, "The right of no person to keep and bear arms in defense of his home, person and property… shall be called in question."

We must send a message to our government that is loud and clear that theses type of totalitarian laws don't work and only leave our most vulnerable defenseless.

P.S. - Colorado AG Phil Wieser is calling for background checks on all ammunition sales.

If laws like these are going to be the focal point of the 2020 session, we might be in more trouble than I initially thought.
