Please understand that this Magazine Ban amendment isn’t in the current FAA Reauthorization bill (S.223) right now, but could be added to make it a vehicle for gun control.
Senators (and their staff) might play a shell game and claim “there’s no gun control in that bill” but that’s a ruse: the Brady Bill, the Assault Weapons ban and many other gun controls made it into law as an amendment to a bigger (and often less controversial) bill.
Please call both Colorado Senators today and urge them to oppose any magazine bans offered as bills or amendments.
I've just received word from inside sources in the U.S. Senate.
Senate Democrats are planning to execute a sneak attack on gun rights as soon as TODAY!
Their plan is to sneak Carolyn McCarthy's Magazine Ban into law as an amendment to the Federal Aviation Administration Bill (S.223), a routine piece of generally non-controversial legislation.
And they hope YOU won't notice.
That's why you and I need to make our voices heard RIGHT NOW!
We need to let them know we're watching them like a hawk!
Please call Sen. Mark Udall at (202) 224-5941 and Sen. Michael Bennet at (202) 224-5852.
Make sure they know about this scheme and that they must oppose Carolyn McCarthy's Magazine Ban every step of the way whether it's attached as an amendment or not.
And make sure they know you're watching.
Thanks for taking action,
Rocky Mountain Gun Owners

You’ve lit the fire.
As Senator Everett Dirkson once said “when I feel the heat, I see the light.”
And you just lit the fire that forced a spotlight of attention on Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey.
Last Thursday the National Association for Gun Rights’ New Jersey Ground Team delivered over 25,000 petitions to Governor Christie’s office, demanding the release and full pardon of Brian Aitken
